Beaverhead Co. Fair begins Wed.

It’s Fair time

The Beaverhead County Fair kicks off today on the Fairgrounds in Dillon, where the Fair's wide array of events and activities will continue through the weekend.

According to Fair Secretary Keeley Fitzgerald, highlights of this year’s
Beaverhead County Fair include: a 4-H Rodeo and Open 4-D Barrel Race on Wednesday; the annual Boots Country Karaoke contest Wednesday through Saturday; the Beaverhead Stock Horse Show on Thursday; 4-H, Open, and FFA Livestock shows on Thursday and Friday; and a magic show Sunday on the midway—along with all the other arena events through the weekend.

The always popular annual 4-H Livestock and Buyer’s Barbecue will take place Saturday, starting at 12:30 p.m. in the Lundberg Show Ring, where the 4-H awards ceremony will happen Sunday, starting at 9 a.m.

Dreamland Carnival will offer carnival rides Thursday through Sunday.
Attendees can also avail themselves of the other usual Fair fare of carnival games, food and fun.

Fair buttons cost $5 for those high school age or older.
