Weather, events and a reminder for the coming days

Daylight Savings Time ends Sun.
Remember—Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday, Nov. 5, at 3 a.m., when clocks get pushed back one hour.

Friday: Good chance of precipitation, with a likely mixture of rain and snow as temperatures rise from about freezing at dawn into a high in the mid-40s by late afternoon, with 5–12 mph winds from south and gusts up to 28 mph.
Friday Night: Chance of precipitation approaching 100 percent, likely in the form of snow as temperatures fall after dusk toward a low in the mid-20s, with south winds above 10 mph.

Saturday: Temperatures expected to remain at or just below freezing throughout the day, with the chance of snow about 50 percent in the morning, with SSW winds of around 5 mph shifting to from the north around dusk.
Saturday Night: COLD ALERT! Temperatures will drop into the mid-teens, with wind chill temp low of 5 degrees from shifting winds just below 10 mph and about a 15 percent chance of snow around midnight.

Sunday: Temperatures expected to peak at freezing, with south winds of around 8 mph and gusts as high as 18 mph and the chance of snow peaking at around 20 percent in late afternoon.

Sunday Night: Temperatures dropping into the upper teens by dawn, when a 10 percent chance of snow will increase to around 25 percent and SSW winds of around 6 mph shift to from the northwest.

Concert Fri.
A concert featuring Songs of Heart & Home will take the stage the Old Depot Theater in downtown Dillon at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, when the Greg Blake Trio, Isaac Callendar & Ellie Hakkenson, and the Dillon Junior Fiddlers will perform. Sheridan craft show Sat.

Film fest Sun.
The second installment of the annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival will hit the screen at the Old Depot Theatre on South Montana Street in downtown Dillon on Sunday, Nov. 5, starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for youth (ages 5-18) and available in advance at Wildwood Floral in Dillon or at SMACarts.org—or at the door.
